Have you been wanting to do more with your family lately? Spend more time with your loved ones? Have you been wanting to get out of the house and into some fresh air? Well, in case you didn’t know, Miami has some pretty awesome parks, and you can do all of the above at a number of them! Here’s our list of some of the best parks in the Miami area! Happy Summer! Crandon Park Crandon Park is great because it’s not only a park, but it’s a beach too! Located in Key Biscayne, Crandon is perfect for bigger parties who want to enjoy the sand and open area and barbecue pits! Amelia Earhart Park This Hialeah park has everything from lush, open greenery to a 91-acre lake. You can throw a ball around, lay out a huge blanket and even rent a kayak! Barnacle Historic State Park This park may be better suited for those wanting an educational experience, but it’s still one of the bests in Miami. Located in Coconut Grove, you can tour the former home of the Coconut Grove pioneer and see exactly how he lived. Oleta River State Park This jewel spans 1,000 acres and is the former home of the Tequesta Indians. Oleta is best for those wanting adventure and thrill on their day out. There are opportunities to see the water by kayak, fish on the pier and even explore the nature trails by bike. Bayfront Park Of course we couldn’t compose a list of the best parks in Miami without mentioning the beloved Bayfront Park. Whether you work in the area or simply love visiting downtown Miami, Bayfront Park is always a place to stop at. There are exciting events happening all the time, and there’s free yoga in the park every day! And while you’re in the downtown area, don’t forget about our Hotel Urbano at Brickell! Our downtown Miami hotel is near Bayfront Park, and we have everything you need after a day out in the sun. We have comfortable rooms, free hot breakfast every morning and even poolside cabanas if you want to cool off. Make a picnic basket, grab your favorite speaker, and get ready to enjoy the outside.
